Our Yorkie Bichon Sleeping
Sometimes we forget Jack is a dog, because he acts so much like a cat. Or should we say he sleeps so much like a cat. We put a blanket on the desk because he likes to sleep up there when we are at the computer. He likes to lie on the window sill and look out the window, or curl up into a little ball and go to sleep. He also likes to sleep on the the back part of the couch on the cushions, or on your lap if you are also on the couch. Or sometimes we will find him on the floor by the door sleeping in direct line of the sun. Not sure if all yorkie bichons have sleeping habits that are more like that of a cat, but Jack certainly seems to. Our dog the cat. He is the cutest thing.

How funny- my yorkie bichon (Capone, 7 months) loves to sleep on his back with his paws in the air!! I just googled yorkie bichons and found your site. Jack is so cute!
Hey Amanda! Thanks for leaving a comment, my wife and I love to hear from other Yorkie Bichon owners out there. Do you have any pictures of Capone? I’ve found that there can be a big difference in what yorkie-bichons look like from one litter to the next. Jack is 2 1/2 now and is a great dog.
I do have some but I’m not sure how to post them. He looks like dark version of Jack. How much does Jack weigh? Capone is 8 pounds. He was my birthday present from my boyfriend (now fiancé).
Oh my goodness! I think I have finally figured out the true breed of my recently adopted doggie! I got him in May, and was told he is a Yorkie-Poo… but I have been looking for pictures of dogs that look like him and finally had success with your pics of Jack! They look like twins
Mine is named Boo 
Boo LOVES to sleep on his back with his paws in the air too! And, he loves to sit on the back of the couch and look out the front window. He goes there when he hears me pull up and when I leave to see me off 
He truly melts my heart on a daily basis. I was going to do DNA testing for his breed, but am pretty sure he is a Bischon-Yorkie based on your pics of Jack 
How cute! My yorkie bichon, Brody has the same mannerisms! He acts like a cat too. He sleeps on his back w/his paws in the air.
They look quite a bit a like as well, but Brody’s tail was docked.
Sorry I hadn’t gotten back to you till now. I somehow missed your comment. Jack weighs about 12 lbs. Which is a few pounds heavier then the 6 to 10 that was advertised but we think it’s the perfect size though
Hey Michelle! I’ve seen a Yorkie-poo right next to Jack and you can definitely see the main difference in the snout. The Yorkie Poo’s snout was more Poodle, longer and not the same mustache. Hi Alynn, I always love to hear about other Yorkie Bichons. Dogs don’t get much cuter in my opinion. I’ve yet to see another one in person besides our Jack and I wonder how jack would act. He gets very shy around other dogs usually.
